Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., asking him if he has further details or recollections of Sumitomo Electric's work with QC Circles in 1962. Hopper shares that his project to learn about production management in different countries has taken over thirty years. He goes on to discuss the George Washington bridge incident in New York and closes by saying that confrontation inside and outside the factory may not always be the best way. The letter contains Hopper's signature.
