Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Adobe Jimeno and the ruins of the Convent of Santa Catalina in Monterey, ca.1900. The ruins of the adobe convent are at left. The building is a long, two-story structure with a peaked roof. Part of the building has crumbled at the right. At right is a church with a tall steeple and several other buildings that resemble houses. There is a bell tower at extreme left, and a dirt road runs across the image in the foreground. The Convent no longer exists.
