Description
George Eddy Billings "Pop" with dog Chrissy. Back of photo states "Pop died in [sic] of 1929 - reprint. Redwood Lodge, Mill Valley, Calif." The Redwood Lodge was a two-story, shingled house that Billings had constructed in 1891. The house initially served as a vacation home, but in 1906, following the Great Earthquake in San Francisco, the Billings family made Redwood Lodge their permanent home.
