Image of a landscape view of Mount Washington and the surrounding New Hampshire countryside, with rolling hills and forests at the foot of mountain peaks.
"After George L. Brown. The original of this picture was purchased by the Prince of Wales for £1000 Sterling, and is now the only American painting by a living artist, in the Gallery of Windsor Castle. Chromo-Lithographed and Published by L. Prang & Co. Washington St., cor. Gardner, Boston. [Entered according to Act] of Congress, in the year 1869, by L. Prang & Co., [in the Clerk's Office of] the District Court of the District of [Mass.]"--text, label on verso. "A List of Prang's American Chromos, Feb. 1, 1869 ... Prang & Co., Fine Art Publishers, Boston."--text, price list on verso. "G. L. Brown"--text, artist's signature, bottom left of image. "[Chromolith &] Published by L.
