Photograph of a fountain in the middle of a courtyard at Scripps College in Claremont, October 1935. The sunken circular fountain can be seen at right and several gravel paths lead up to it from the edges of the courtyard. In the background at left, a covered walkway runs along the side of the quadrangle. The roof of the walkway is made of terracotta tiles. In the background at right, a large building with a tapered roof is visible. Several tall trees and plants are visible in and around the courtyard.
