Magic's popular basketball camp, attended each year by about 400 kids, was held at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.
Photograph caption dated July 27, 1989 reads, "Lakers guard Magic Johnson was on hand to offer tips to youngsters attending his annual summer basketball camp in Thousand Oaks. He later took time out to reflect on the past year."
