Title supplied by cataloger. Bill O'Brien started his small business making wooden toys for pets in 1951 after retiring from steel industry and relocating to California from Massachusetts. Delrego Products Co. employeed four workers besides O'Brien. Photograph caption dated September 2, 1959 reads, "Cat-A-Log -- Snuffy the cat nips at catnip-filled cat scratcher which saves wear and tear on furniture. Carpeted posts created by Bill O'Brien range in size from 18 inches in height to 24 inches. Catnip is pushed into center to draw feline's attention."
