Description
This circa 1927 photograph shows water going through the process of being purified at the Sacramento Filtration Plant. In 1928, the plant went through a 100,000 dollar repair campaign to fix the shifting of floors within the pictured sedimentation basin. It was designed to hold a capacity of 2 millions gallons.
