Photograph caption dated July 20, 1956 reads, "Welcome DeMille Star -- Li li-hwa, "movie queen of Asia" and free China's top box office attraction, has been signed to a contract by the noted producer C.B. DeMille. With them (wearing dark glasses) is Edith Head, Paramount costume designer who is quite interested in Miss Li's Far East wardrobe."
