Description
"Sklavenzug alter Zeit. (Nach einem Stich)." ("Line of slaves of the old days. (After an engraving)."). The drawing depicts a line of adult and child slaves bound together by chains and wooden boards around their necks. Some of them carry baskets on their heads. Two overseers with guns standing next to them. The scenery is characterized by high grass and trees in the background.
Included from the box of duplicates. -- The picture is supposedly drawn after an engraving by Livingstone.
