Description
This 1927 photograph provides a view, from the west, of Curtis Park's famed "Montgomery Way Oak," located upon the grounds of 2751 Montgomery Way. Long thought to have been near 400-years-old, it was concluded in the 1990s that the tree was more close to 200-years-old. At the time this photograph was taken, the property was owned by Charles H. Cutter, founder of the Cutter Mill and Lumber Company.
