Description
Jeanne Jones discusses her book, “Jeanne Jones’ Food Lover’s Diet.” She begins by explaining that she recently traveled to Africa for a diabetes conference and picked up some recipes in Kenya. She says that this is her 10th book on nutrition, but the first one where she gives clear guidelines for a diet. Jones talks about attending cooking school in Paris. She stresses the importance of working out and burning more calories from exercise than from food. She makes a tarragon salad dressing, but shows ways of how to alter the dressing to make it any flavor. She ends the interview by discussing how diabetes affects blood sugar, and how a sensible diet can help with maintaining health. Interview was recorded in 1982 but may have been broadcast in 1993.
