Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated March 4, 1948 reads, "Proof that Valley goatdom is multiplying by leaps and bounds was provided today by Blondie, a four-year-old Alpine doe, who boasts an almost record crop of offspring - quadruplet kids. According to their owner, Mrs. Olive Herbert, of 9633 Bradley ave., Roscoe, secretary-treasurer of the French Alpine Breeders of Southern California, birth of quads to a goat is as rare as in human beings. Mrs. Herbert says both mother and kids are doing well."
