Description
Photograph of the exterior of Wilson (Johnson) School in Pasadena, ca.1895. The two-story wooden Victorian structure has a partially sloped roof which rises to a widow's walk on top. A tall square bell tower is situated directly over the main entrance in the center of the facade. Broad steps lead to the entryway. Several trees are planted in the grounds in front on each side of a wide path which leads up to the school. Three men at left with two bicycles are standing near the building. Mountains rise in the left background. The date of construction is given as 1887 on the front tower of the school below the belfry.
