Photograph article dated July 21, 1963 partially reads, "Souvenir spoon collectors had their hey day in the gay nineties. But two Burbank neighbors are helping to revive the spirit of collecting today. Alamae Pierce and her neighbor Genovive Blizzard have collected and researched spoon history together for approximately six years. Mrs. Pierce eventually began her spoon collection 13 years ago and today has more than 2,000 spoons and related objects." Pictured are Alamae Pierce, left, and her Burbank neighbor Genovive Blizzard, showing a small glimpse of their vast collection.
