Photograph caption dated October 22, 1960 reads, "Rail-splitting ceremony - New Lincoln Bank is officially opened with symbolic act in doorway of log cabin headquarters at 14535 Victory Blvd., Van Nuys. Taking part in opening rite are, from left, Herman E. Erke, executive vice president of bank; Mrs. Martin Pollard; Martin Pollard, president of bank, performing rail-splitting, and Arthur H. Meacham, vice president of bank."
