Three models at a fashion show of women's clothing at the Biltmore Hotel, located at 506 South Grand Ave. View 7: The model on the left wears a long white dress with small black polka dots, a sweetheart neckline, puffy sleeves, and cinched waist. The model in the middle, identified as Marian Durand, wears an oxford slack suit. An accompanying news clipping referred to this style as a "a la Marlene Dietrich" and noted that it had "won favor at fashionable resorts and goes well with the mannish type." And the model on the right wears a tan dress with lace embellishing the sleeves and collar. Photo dated: January 17, 1933.
