Photograph of a montage of portraits of the bandito Tiburcio Vasquez (1835-1875), the outlaw (who was hanged in March of 1875 for his expoits), his seven captors, and the site of his capture in 1874. The men are identified as (clockwise from bottom): "Tiburcio Vasquez", "Emil Harris", "Albert Johnson", "W.K. Smith" (D.K.), "W.R. Rowland, sheriff", "W.E. Rodgers", "Mr. Beers, Chronicle reporter" (George A. Beers), "Sam Bryant". In the middle of the ring of portraits is a photograph of the small adobe and wood dwelling of Greek George entitled "Scene of the caputre of Vasquez.
