Photograph of pianist and lecturer Isabelle Yalkovsky (Byman), standing, wearing a sleeveless dress. She performed as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and others throughout the United States and Canada in the 1920s and 1930s. Gelatin silver print, monochromatic, glossy paper. Inscribed on the photograph: To Mrs. Cecil Frankel, with all good wishes, Isabelle Yalkovsky, Los Angeles, February 1930. Stamped on the back of the photograph is the name of her management company and their address in New York.
