Description
Photograph article dated March 25, 1960 partially reads, "Vernon Lane, 7303 DeSota St., Canoga Park, retired: 'First thing is throw Gov. Brown out of office. He's been here long enough to see the problem. But you can't get him to save us. A thousand times we've asked him, and what do we get? A committee, the APCD Putting a ban on backyard burning was silly. APCD is too embarrassed to admit it was wrong there.'"
