Photograph caption dated February 3, 1961 reads "Bonnie Curland, Queen of the Rose Pruners, snips laterals from rose bushes to get in practice for the 11th Exposition Park Rose Pruning Demonstration to be held 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the park rose garden. More than 3,000 persons, armed with pruning shears, are expected to attend. Weatherman predicts a 'rosy' day."
