Photograph caption dated October 19, 1984 reads, "Firefighters work to free 27-year-old Stacy Snelson, of Whittier, who was trapped in her car after hitting a power pole last night. Fire department spokesman Jim Wells said the accident occurred about 8 p.m. at 6819 N. Canoga Ave. in Canoga Park. Snelson was in serious condition at Northridge Hospital, Wells said."
