Image shows view of the Mrs. J.E. (Estelle M.) Hanson residence, located on Via Arriba on lot 6, block 1435, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. View shows entranceway, with brick path, tile-framed front doors with wrought-iron gates, and wrought-iron grill in front of windows. Newly planted landscaping is visible on either side of pathway. This two-story, eight-room stucco house with tile roof and attached two-car garage received the Art Jury's Certificate of Honor for the most notable residence architecture of 1930. It was designed by the architectural firm of Webber and Spaulding.
