Description
1) Letters to W. W. Hanscom from Harry V. Roome, enclosing a product sheet for the "Oscilaudion," July 1916. 2) Letter to Hanscom from U.S. Navy re tests of the Audiotron vacuum receiving tubes, December 1918. 3) Correspondence between Hanscom and Dr. August Hund re the use of vacuum tubes for measuring peak potentials of alternating current, March 1921. 4) Correspondence between Hanscom and "Mr. Chapman" re tubes having a vacuum higher than those which were first available commencing with the year 1915. 5) Assorted magazine articles on vacuum tubes, 1920s 6) Correspondence between Hanscom and Frederick Ray, Consulting Engineer, re testing Hanscom's early DeForest audions. As it turned out, Hanscom no longer owned the DeForest tubes. October - December 1929. 7) Original vacuum tube test notes measuring Amperes and Volts. Undated. 8) Audion bulb tests (slide wire method), 1918 (see 2021-20)
