Description
Photograph of flood control on the San Jose Creek, showing the construction of a rubble channel, 1943. A wire fence stands across the foreground with the rocks piled on the dry creek bed just beyond it. A stone wall stands at center down the middle of the two stone walls that stand against the opposing banks of the creek. Ladders lean against the left wall up to the workers who stand near piles of wood on the left bank. Long beams bridge over the top of the potential creek from the left bank to the right where piles of dirt sit near the dark trees which crowd the background.
