Photograph article dated August 15, 1957 partially reads, "At 78, Marshall O. Nelson, San Fernando civic leader and former mule skinner, puts more pep and vigor than many youngsters into carrying out his life's ambition - to educate youth. A few weeks ago he accompanied a whole plane cargo of goats - 128 to be exact - to Ecuador. While there, he met a young man who wanted to become a lawyer. This lad is being brought to the United States this month at Nelson's expense to be educated in the way of life of this country."
