Description
"Kaisi mit seiner Familie am Tag s. Ordination." ("Kaisi and his family on h[is] ordination day."). Kaisi wearing a white robe is surrounded by his wife, three girls, one boy and one baby. His wife carries the baby in her arms. In the background trees and shrubs.
Cf. photo nos. 10383 and 10384. -- Kaisi, who had for several years been largely responsible for the parishes Ipanya ('Ipyana') and Mwaya, was ordained by Brother Gemuseus on 28 July 1935. -- Ernst Waldner (1898-?) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa. He married Julie Friederike Ebinger.
