Advancements of Man, 1976 (repainted in 1995), 2331 Avenida Cesar Chavez (at Soto Street), exterior (NW corner). The mural shows positive and negative aspects of science and technology. In metal acrylic on concrete, 15' x 90' by Willie Herron III and Alfonso Trejo, Jr. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 300, #24. According to Google maps street view image, the mural does not exist anymore (as of November 2011).
