Description
Shown is a circa 1925 menu for Hart's Restaurant, representing its three locations: 520 K Street, 1016 Tenth Street, and 1020 Second Street. The concern was founded by Ohio-born brothers Harry and William Hart, who opened their first spot in 1912 at 1110 Eighth Street, the germ of an empire that would claim locations in Sacramento, Stockton, San Joaquin County, and Fresno, prior to its ebb in the mid-1960s.
