Photograph caption dated June 2, 1962 reads, "Solemn dedication of new novitiate building at Claretville Seminary, Calabasas, will be presided over by His Eminence Arcadius Cardinal Larraona, CM.F., prefect of the Sacred Congregation of Rites in Rome, at 3 p.m. Sunday. Claretville is campus of major seminary which prepares young men for Catholic Priesthood in Claretian Order. Seminary is located in the Malibu mountain range and novitiate building provides for one year of pre-college training for seminarians, has accommodations for 50 novices. A study hall, recreation room and dining hall flank patio at rear, and chapel accommodates 60."
