Kashnor notes, "Shows the Coast of California as far north as the supposed Strait of Anian, locating Po. St. Francis Drake and New Albion." Shirley suggests this map was produced in 1715, see Shirley entry 624. Submaps of: Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Eclipses, the Solar System according to Newtonian Philosophy. Detailed explanatory boxes for various features. Map shows trade wind lines.. Prime meridian: Ferro. Relief: pictorial. Projection: Dual Hemisphere. Printing Process: Copper engraving.
