Description
A photograph of the Capital National Bank at 7th and J Streets. Initially projected for completion in spring of 1915, it opened in early 1916. Designed by architect Rudolph Harold, also known for Sacramento's City Hall, Hall of Justice, and Masonic Temple, the seven story building was vaunted as fireproof. Capitol-National Bank operated for over thirty years before Crocker Bank acquired it in 1949.
