Photograph was edited for publication purposes and has a vertical crease near the center of the picture. The four performers pictured were well known character actors in film, television and stage, appearing in many award winning film and theater productions, often musicals. The film, "The Unsinkable Molly Brown," received several Academy Award nominations and was nominated for the Golden Globe for best picture in 1964. Begley won a Best Actor Academy Award award for his performance in "Sweet Bird of Youth" in 1962. Baddeley won a Tony for her performance by a leading actress in the play "The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore" in 1963. Baddeley and Kruschen were nominated for Academy Awards for supporting roles in other films, and Presnell won a Golden Globe Award as Best New Actor for his role in "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." Presnell was also an accomplished opera singer. All four were active until their deaths. Photograph caption dated June 21, 1964 partially reads "A group of old pros in the acting business didn't know much about pro dancing, but had to learn for 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown.' So a stiff course of lessons resulted, with (below, left to right) Hermoine Baddeley, Jack Kruschen, Ed Begley and Harve Presnell learning in dance studio."
