Description
This circa 1982 postcard shows the exquisite artwork making up the California State Capitol building's inner rotunda. In the same year, the Capitol interior underwent a 68 million dollar restoration. In 2001, the rotunda was dusted and cleaned, requiring scaffolding that equaled 15 levels of steel and wooden planks weighing more than 17 tons.
