Description
Taken on April 5, 1937, this photograph captures the entry to the Goodrich Silvertown building at 1200 I Street. On the right side of the photograph, two young boys are peering through the storefront window at First World War ephemera. President Woodrow Wilson declared war on the Central Powers on April 2, 1917, nearly thirty years earlier, to the day.
