Taken on April 5, 1947, this photograph captures the entry to the Goodrich Silvertown building at 1200 I St. On the right side of the photograph, two young boys are peering through the storefront window at World War I ephemera. President Woodrow Wilson declared war on the Central Powers on April 2, 1917, nearly thirty years earlier to the day.
