In this case, the body tries particularly hard to combat the disease. And in this fight the risk of damage also to the nerve tissues is very high. Therefore it may be necessary to curb the reaction by using medicine. The symptoms of reaction are neuralgia and fever. Other symptoms may also occur, as in this patient, with water in the body and general weakness.
