Description: Shown is architect Welton Becket's floor plan for the 1960 Democratic National Convention at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. At left center is the rostrum and dias. In the center are platforms for photographers. The main floor seated all delegates. Spectators and alternate delegates sat in the upper levels. The convention opened July 11, 1960. Photo date: May 28, 1960.
