Description
Interior of Dowd's Fashion Stable, 157 Throckmorton Avenue, where Dowd's Moving and Storage was located in 1977. On the right are Charles James Dowd and his wife, Mrs. Emma Dowd. Charles is holding daughter Charlotte, also known as "Tate" Dowd, who would later become Charlotte Dowd Switzer. One of the men to the left of the Dowds is believed to be Edward Patrick Ryan, who worked for the Dowds and was considered part of the family.
