Description
"Lehrer Davidi Ntaka mit Familie." ("Teacher Davidi Ntaka and family."). On the left: Davidi Ntaka. On the right: his wife. Both are holding a baby in their arms, twins.
Davidi Ntaka was a teacher in Tabora. He was to have become chief in 1936, but he rejected this in order to continue to work for the Mission. -- August Seibt (1875-1943) was a teacher and a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Unyamwezi (1904-1916) and Usoke (1930-1937). In 1905 he married Frieda Scholz. They returned to Germany in 1937.
