Photograph caption dated March 10, 1950 reads "This beautiful Chinese magnolia tree in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Garman, of Hidden Village, is so spectacular when in full bloom that it almost causes passing motorists to wreck their cars. These trees should be seen more often in Valley gardens."
