Photograph caption dated October 22, 1959 reads "Sally, 4, and her sister, Wendy, 7, carrying blankets to their mother, Mrs. Bob Taber, volunteer nurses aide, to help drive for victims of typhoons in Japan. Scene was in Valley branch of Red Cross at 14717 Sherman Way. Building is open each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., including Saturday and Sunday for the collection."
