Photograph of artist's painting of Friml, arms folded, wearing formal attire and ring. Original painting was by Wisconsin artist Vladimir Shamberk (Samberk). Gelatin silver print, sepia-toned, glossy paper, affixed to cardboard frame. Inscribed in ink on frame: "To my dear friend Miss Bessie Bartlett in Kindly remembrance, Rudolf Friml, Los Angeles, Oct. 29, 1908"
