Photograph dated January 31, 1950 shows construction worker, Alesandro Ulloa, 44, who was trapped under two tons of sand when the walls of a sewer trench in Reseda collapsed on him. His co-worker Ramon Cota who helped with the rescue, is seen at his bedside at the Van Nuys Receiving Hospital.
