Photograph caption dated February 6, 1961 partially reads, "From left, Ann Roebuck, James Bechter, laundromat owner, watch shops destroyed." The article partially reads, "A two-alarm fire caused several hundred thousand dollars in damage late Sunday after flames erupted in an electronics supply firm and spread to three adjoining businesses. Three firemen were overcome by smoke while fighting the flames at Sherman Way and White Oak avenue in Reseda....The Valley Electronics Supply Co., 17651 Sherman Way, was virtually destroyed by the blaze. The flames apparently broke out in some trash in the firm's attic. They then spread to Jim's Laundromat, 17645 Sherman Way; Dunrite's Cleaners, 17643 Sherman Way, and King's Auto Supply, 17639 Sherman Way."; See images #00114978 through #00114982 for all photos in this series.
