Description
The Scottish Rite Temple, 196 North Third Street, San Jose, California. The temple is one of several halls that have housed San Jose Scottish Rite Bodies here since the first lodge was organized in 1850. This building of Renaissance Revival architectural style was constructed in 1924 and dedicated May 8, 1925. This print, and the above description, were published in "San Jose - An inventory of it's Historical and Architectural Heritage by San Jose Historic Landmarks Commission," copyright 1975.
