Photograph caption dated April 10, 1933 reads, "Mrs. Charlotte Shelby, at left, and her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Shelby Fillmore, are pictured in court today as Leslie B. Henry, Pasadena financier, was scheduled to face trial on charges of embezzling $17,000 from Mrs. Shelby. Mrs. Shelby is the mother of Mary Miles Minter, former film star, Henry today entered a plea of guilty to five counts of grand theft and five of forgery."
