Photograph caption dated July 28, 1962 reads, "Los Angeles County Supervisor Warren M. Dorn speaks to crowd gathered Friday at the dedication of an $800,000 county courts building at 1040 W. Ave. J in Lancaster. The two-story concrete-and-brick building is the second phase in the development of a county administrative center at the Lancaster site. Numerous Antelope Valley civic and legal leaders attended the dedication."
