Description
Connie and Barry begin the interview discussing the fantastical context of the book and the way in which Barry’s writing reflects how dreams operate and develop. Connie has Barry read a passage from the book, and they proceed to talk about his childhood literary influences and the importance of violence in Barry’s writing. Connie then has Barry read an additional passage from the book that reflects his relationship with his parents before Barry recites a final passage concerning themes of love and sex. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
