Description
A: Dress - cream (yellowed) light-weight textured cotton. High neck - no collar. Unique fabric covered buttons neck to waist. Gathered scallop trim in square around upper bodice, over shoulder, cuffs, multi layers on skirt & over skirt. Waist gathered in back, soft pleats in front. Lower skirt trimmed with with two rows of wider (7.5 & 9" wide) scallop trim. One pocket on right front skirt. B: Overskirt = cream silk (yellowed) ribbon band at waist, scalloped edges, hand finished with ribbon. Ribbon rosette at waist front; 2 bows at side fronts. Waistband appears to have been let out.
