Description: Salinas Valley Hospital at East San Luis and Monterey Streets. The entrance was on East San Luis Street. Dr. Rollin Reeves owned the hospital. Rates were $6.00 for a room without a bath, and $12.00 for a room with a shared bath. There were 26 rooms in the one-story stucco building. Mrs. Olive Hamilton Steinbeck was in room #1, $12.00 and was visited by her son, John Steinbeck.
